Partnerships paved the way for respectful total

While Vinod was batting, the left- and right-hand combination proved to be tiresome for the opposition due to field changes. Later, Pritesh Purohit provided stability to the innings with a crucial knock of 17 runs and built a quick partnership of 57 runs. CVZ captain Ranjith added quick 15 runs to the total. Even though CVZ lost wickets at regular intervals, these small partnerships helped to build challenging total of 167 runs in 35.0 overs.

Gopi Kandasamy and Rajesh Shanmugasundaram were standout bowlers for Novartis CC, claiming four and three wickets respectively.

Amidst the collapse, sixth wicket partnership provided some resistance. With the fall of the sixth wicket, given out LBW, Novartis CC decided to concede the match, sighting LBW out decision.
